Sessanta Passi
Last updated: 8 October 2026
Short version: nothing you do inside Sessanta Passi ever leaves your device. There is no account, no server, no analytics and no advertising.
This policy applies to the iOS app Sessanta Passi (the "App"), a single-player strategy game about the Tratturo Magno transhumance route. It explains what information the App handles and what it does with it.
We collect none. The App has no account system, no sign-up, no login, no third-party analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no tracking of any kind, and it does not transmit any data to us or to anyone else over the network.
| Data type | Collected? | Leaves the device? |
|---|---|---|
| Identifiers (name, email, device ID, advertising ID) | No | No |
| Usage data / analytics | No | No |
| Location | No | No |
| Photos you choose to attach to a stop (keepsake) | Stored locally only | No |
| Game progress, settings, lesson records | Stored locally only | No |
Everything the App remembers — your progress along the road, the records of each day's leg, your company's lessons, bookmarks, settings and any keepsake photo you pin to a stop — is saved as ordinary files in the App's own storage area on your device. None of it is backed up to our servers, because we do not operate any servers for this App. (Apple's iCloud/iTunes device backup, if you have one turned on for your phone generally, may include the App's local files like any other app's data; that backup is governed by Apple's own privacy policy, not ours.)
If you choose to pin a keepsake photo to a stop on the map, the App asks to use the camera or lets you pick a single picture from your photo library. The picture is copied into the App's own local storage. It is never uploaded, shared, or sent anywhere unless you personally choose to share it using the system share sheet. If the simulator or device has no camera available, the App falls back to the photo picker.
If you turn on the evening leg reminder or the San Michele feast-day notice in Settings, the App schedules a local notification directly on your device using Apple's notification framework. No push-notification service, and no server of ours, is involved — the notification is generated and delivered entirely on-device.
The App embeds no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. It makes no network requests of any kind during normal play. The in-app notebook pages are bundled HTML files shipped inside the App and rendered locally; they do not load any remote content.
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information from anyone at all.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the App adds a feature that does collect data — we will update this page and the in-app "What's new" notes, and update the "Last updated" date above.
Questions about this policy or the App can be sent through our support page.
